At 10 months you are just starting to crawl on your hands and knees. You started "army crawling" at about six months and have been hesitant to go on your hands and knees because your way of crawling got you to where you needed to be. You are pulling yourself up on furniture and walking along it. Whenever Daddy and I try to get you to walk you just laugh so hard that you can't do it. Another thing that makes you laugh is Carson. You adore him and laugh at him all of the time...it is so cute to watch.
You are still not sleeping through the night. You love to snuggle up next to mommy at night and throw a fit when you don't get your way. You are starting to go to other people better, but for the longest time the only people you would let hold you were Mommy & Daddy. You are saying a few words now like "Mama" and "yeah". You've got "Mama" down very well and yell it at me a lot. You are eating a lot of foods now and prefer to eat what the rest of the family is having. You act as if you are offended if I offer you baby food instead of whats on the table. You are starting to use your hands a lot to motion for what you want. One way you do this is when you want to go play downstairs with your brothers. You will put your hand up in the air towards the basement door and start clenching your fist...as if you were trying to bring the door closer to you. There are a few things you love to do when we are in the basement, and one of those things is to crawl over to the train tracks Jonas builds and tear them up. This has caused him to sit on you several times so he can defend his hard work. You also love to crawl over to the magnet board, pull yourself up, and then start to pull all of the magnets off and throw them around the room while you squeal with delight. When ever you see that you can escape, you will crawl across the basement and start heading up the stairs. One time you made it half way up to the top before Daddy realized you were missing. It makes you feel empowered that you can climb the stairs, but it makes Mommy a little nervous that you are always trying to do it unsupervised!
Mason, we all love you so much and are so thankful that you came to be in our family. You truly are our happy go lucky boy and we needed that in our home. Keep growing stronger and stronger each day!
